This project had been offered to a number of builders by the designer, we were in discussions with the owner who rejected the other bids as they were over their budget. The Client had a non refundable deposit on the land and were about to walkaway when they asked us to see what we could do. We conducted a value engineering analysis of the design, specifications and finishes. We came back with recommendations to change the design of the Civil Works and walked the client through the rest of our recommendations.The project was now in budget and we proceeded to build it.
