Failed Projects

We were approached by Grant Thornton, an accounting firm that had been put in control of this building in Airdrie. The building sat abandoned partially completed for two years. The owners of the land and the trades and investors couldn’t come to a satisfactory solution on moving forward and so pushed it into receivership.

Osiris was asked to do a cost to complete budget for the building and an assessment of any damages that may have  occurred during this dormant time as it appeared no one was looking after the building. We met with the City of Airdrie Building and Development to determine if there were any outstanding issues, and there were a  number that didn’t comply with the development plan. We completed our report and provided the budget as quested and the building was put up for sale in an open competition. We made ourselves available to any of the prospective purchasers to assist them in making a decision as to whether to purchase. The building sold and is now being completed.
